Hello everyone

One day i was chiiling on a massage table with my face down during a relaxing massage on my back.
It was so comfortable & relaxing pose i've almost fell asleep on there.
The main difference is that my head was looking straight forward and i felt very comfortable with my neck.

I'm considering to bring home such a massage table;)

Therefore,
I have a question to professional doctors, orthopedics therapists & physiology specialists.

Is it good & healthy for the body such a pose for a long time sleep?

All opinions or experience stories are welcomed ??

Thanks

This has happened to me, too. Only a few times though. The first time and most frightening was about 10 years ago. Only my eyes were open, it was the middle of the day and I just woke u from a nap. I couldn't move and I felt like there was some kind of presence around me. Not sure what it was but it scared me. Take care.

@Pat, I've experienced the same thing. I've looked it up a long time ago and I found that there's a good explanation for this. Does it mostly happen to you when your body is very tired or you wake up and try to fall back asleep? They also say that your body enters that state that it is preventing you from acting out your dreams. It's scary, but I understood that there's nothing to be afraid of.

waking up not able to move

Another question.. About once every three months, I have a very frightening experience. I wake up internally, and I can hear everything around me, but cannot open my eyes or move. I then try to force myself to fully wake up by jerking my entire body. If I fall back to sleep, I will go into the exact same state again and jerk myself awake once again. This is quite an awful and frightening experience, like I'm in coma or something. Can anyone tell me what this is?

Good morning,

My problem is that I'm really a morning person, wheras my husbant is a true night owl... This causes some conflicts in our relationship. Quite frustrating sometimes... Is anyone else out there in this situation and how do you deal with it?

Thanks,
Holly
